During our training camp preview on the quarterback position for the Cleveland Browns, we asked two poll questions about the expectations surrounding Tyrod Taylor and Baker Mayfield.
In Part 1 of our preview, we asked about who fans whether Taylor would exceed, meet, or fall short of the type of stat line he put up for three years in Buffalo. The results leaned heavily in Taylor’s favor — after nearly 2,000 votes, 66% of fans believe that he will have a career-best year. 30% think he will stay on pace with what he’s always done, and only 4% believe he’ll have the worst season of his career (i.e. “only in Cleveland”).
Poll
Tyrod Taylor’s typical season in Buffalo was 3,000 yards passing, 18 TD, 6 INT, with 500 yards rushing, 5 TD. In his first year with the Browns, which do you think Taylor will do?

In Part 2 of our preview, we wanted to know how many games fans thought Baker Mayfield would start in 2018. There were a lot more choices for this option, but the leading vote-getter was “no games” with 37% of the votes, followed closely by “only 2-3 games” with 32% of the vote. Only 1% think he will win the job outright out of camp to start all season.
