It appears as though the Cleveland Browns have won the sweepstakes for LB Mychal Kendricks! The news first came down from Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network on Sunday, when he tweeted the following.
Sources: The #Browns are signing free agent LB Mychal Kendricks to a 1-year deal, bolstering their linebacking group late in the offseason. Along with Jamie Collins and Christian Kirksey, it could be one of the most talented in football.

Shortly after that, though, Kendricks responded to Rapoport on Twitter, telling him, “You will never have my respect.” He then vented to Chris Tomasson of the St. Paul Pioneer Press, telling him the report of him signing with the Browns was not accurate, along with a string of curse words. A little later in the day, Jordan Schultz of Yahoo Sports reported that Kendricks has signed a 1-year, $3.5 million deal with Cleveland.
#Browns and LB Mychal Kendricks have agreed to a one-year deal, with a max value of $3.5 million, per source. Kendricks will start from day one for Cleveland.

The most fascinating part of the whole day to me is the part where it says “Kendricks will start from day one in Cleveland.”
So...welcome to Cleveland? I think?
