Casting calls announced for Browns’ upcoming Hard Knocks filming

The Cleveland Browns are set to be featured on this season’s of HBO’s Hard Knocks. The 13th season will mostly focus on the team’s training camp and preseason contests, but background shooting and B-roll taping is about to get underway. And if you’re a fan and live in the area, it appears there may be opportunities to appear on the show.

Angela Boehm Casting, via posts on Facebook, made the following calls for talent for the upcoming week:

Hi Guys!

HBO will be featuring The Browns on their television show Hard Knocks. This is a SAG TV show and we are willing to Taft Hartley.

We would want to bring true Cleveland Browns Fans in on June 11th and or 12th. Will likely take place at the training facility in Berea, Ohio. Must be at least 18.

Hello,

We are currently casting background for HBO Hard Knocks.

Looking for real people not actors, must be real!. We will be filming Wednesday 6/13 & Thursday 6/14 in various locations in Cleveland Ohio. Each talent will be needed just 1 day; exact schedule is TBD.

For the former, the pay rate is $323 for one day; “willing to Taft Hartley” means those selected are eligible for membership in the Screen Actors Guild. This is apparently a super-fan style gig; the post goes on to say that to [sic] “Give me minimum of a paragraph describing you as a fan. You can submit with friends or individually just make sure all info is included about everyone in the submit. Include 2-3 photos in Browns gear. Costumes, masks, tents, winebegos are all welcome. Def want people with Bone props so please send pics with what you have. Your pictures and bio are your audition so make them good, send several with gear/wardrobe.”

The latter pays $400 per day (plus a fee to an agent, should you have one—because, oh, don’t we all) and is searching for,
