REACTION
Two players were cut who we had making our 53-man roster: WR Jeff Janis and LB Justin Currie (although Currie was waived/injured, meaning he could end up on IR). Neither one is a surprise cut per se. Janis was originally signed as a special teams ace, but a few younger players won out in favor of him this camp.
The team will need to make 19 more cuts before the 4 PM ET deadline on Saturday. Don’t forget to follow our live roster cuts tracker!
