Tonight, the Browns are on the road to take on the Giants in their first preseason game of the year. Here are some nuggets about Thursday’s contest, as well as how you can watch or listen to the game.

Location: MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford, NJ

The NFL Network will re-broadcast the Browns-Giants game on Saturday (Aug. 11) at 6 PM ET, Monday (Aug. 13) at 8 PM ET, and Thursday (Aug. 16) at 10:00 AM ET.

-Giants head coach Pat Shurmur held the same capacity with the Browns from 2011-12. During his time at the helm, Shurmur compiled a 9-23 overall record. ... Giants offensive line coach Hal Hunter served in the same capacity for the Browns in 2016. ... Browns WR coach Adam Henry served as the Giants’ wide receivers coach from 2016-17. Henry also prepped both Giants WR Odell Beckham Jr. and Browns WR Jarvis Landry in college at LSU from 2012-13. ... Browns defensive backs coach DeWayne Walker served as the Giants secondary coach from 2002-03.


-Giants OL John Greco was with the Browns from 2011-16, playing in 85 games and starting 66. Greco is a Youngstown, Ohio native and went to Boardman High School. ...
