Dan Bailey, the second most accurate kicker in NFL history with above an 88 percent success rate, could be on the Cleveland Browns’ radar after 23-year-old Zane Gonzalez kicked away their chances at a Week 2 win in New Orleans.

Gonzalez missed two extra points and two field goals in the second half of the Browns’ 21-18 loss.

According to betting odds (via MyBookie), the Browns are the favorites (+100) to land Bailey as Gonzalez’s replacement, which assumes they cut him for the poor performance. The Minnesota Vikings (+150) are a close second after their kicker missed a potential game-winning field goal in the waning seconds of their matchup against rival Green Bay.

The Browns are even bigger favorites (EVEN) to sign Bailey at a different sports book, per OddsShark.

Bailey had an off-year by his standards in 2017—playing in only 12 games and making only 75 percent of his attempted field goals—before becoming a surprise roster cut by the Cowboys after spending his first seven NFL seasons with the team.

As of Sep. 5, Bailey reportedly had contract offers from four NFL teams.

“There are a lot of factors that are important to Dan,’’ Bailey’s agent Jeremy Woy told 247Sports.com’s Mike Fisher two weeks ago. “It’s not only about money. He is considering offers. He wants to be with the right team.’’

That number of potential contract offers likely went way up after Sunday.

If Bailey’s future comes down to a choice between the Browns and Vikings, and his desire for being on the “right” team means a winning one, then the oddsmakers might want to adjust things pretty quickly.

And Bailey might want to start packing his bags with some warm clothing.
