FanPulse: Browns fans’ confidence shoots back up to 96% after a win heading to Week 4

Winning their first game has Browns fans feeling good. The same effect did not happen for Pittsburgh.

Welcome to SB Nation FanPulse — a survey of fans across the NFL, powered by SurveyMonkey. Each week, we send 32 polls to 100+ plugged in fans from each team. Browns fans, sign up HERE to join FanPulse.

The Week 3 polls are in, so let’s take a look at the results!

How confident are you in the direction of the team?

Last week: 83 percent confidence

This week, 96% of fans voted for their confidence in the direction of the Browns, a 13% boost from last week, and right back to where we were in Week 1. I’m telling you — Browns fans can taste the direction of this franchise changing (for the better), and they are soaking it up.

The same effect didn’t happen for the Steelers. Despite getting their first win of the season last week against the Buccaneers, they flat-lined at 26% confidence from week to week. The Ravens are at 91%, up 17% from the previous week. The Bengals are at 63%, down 18% from the previous week.

Will the Browns win or lose in Week 3?

Odds: Raiders are 3-point favorites

Dawgs By Nature FanPulse: Browns by 8

Silver and Black Pride FanPulse: Raiders by 2

Cleveland fans are the most confident they’ve been all season, predicting a margin of victory of 8 points. Raiders fans, on the other hand, are the least confident we’ve seen all year, only predicting a two-point win despite being at home.

What is the worst team in the NFL?

59% of fans voted for the Arizona Cardinals being the worst team in the NFL, and I fell into that majority too. The Oakland Raiders were up next with 23% of the votes. Had the Bills not just demolished the Vikings, they would’ve been a top contender for the poll too.
