The NFC Championship Game brings the first rematch of the day as the New Orleans Saints host the Los Angeles Rams.
The teams met on the first Sunday in November when the Saints handed the Rams their first loss of the season. New Orleans broke out to a 35-17 lead at halftime, but needed a 72-yard touchdown pass from Drew Brees to Michael Thomas with just under four minutes remaining to secure a 45-35 victory.
The Saints have made just one prior trip to the Super Bowl, winning the title in 2010. The Rams are looking for their fourth trip to the Super Bowl, but first since 2001. The Rams also made five appearances in the NFL title game prior to the Super Bowl era, winning twice - including a win over the Cleveland Browns in 1951. (Although the Browns beat the Rams in 1950 and 1955.)
Browns fans should use this as an open thread to discuss the game.
