With WR Jarvis Landry coming off such a monster game against the Baltimore Ravens, it would have sucked to lose that momentum the following week against the San Francisco 49ers. Landry entered the concussion protocol during the game, and the waiting game began to see if he would be cleared in time for Monday Night Football. We didn’t have to wait until Monday, because the good news came on Friday when Mary Kay Cabot of the Plain Dealer reported that Landry has been cleared from the concussion protocol:
#Browns Jarvis Landry has been cleared from the concussion protocol and should be at practice today
— Mary Kay Cabot (@MaryKayCabot) October 4, 2019
A little before Cabot’s tweet, Landry tipped everyone off that he had been cleared because he responded to a fantasy football post (from the NFL account) saying that people should start him in their lineups.
With Antonio Callaway returning from a 4-game suspension and Rashard Higgins seeing limited action in practice this week, we could finally see the Browns’ deep group of receivers all in action (with the other guy being someone by the name of Odell Beckham Jr).
