Will the 49ers use the creeper blitz to get to Baker Mayfield?

Over at Niners Nation, our 49ers SB Nation affiliate, Alex Rollins does weekly film breakdowns on the opponents their team is facing. That means the subject this week is Baker Mayfield and the Cleveland Browns, specifically how teams like the Titans and Jets impacted the game with the creeper blitzes they’ve thrown at Mayfield.

Despite Mayfield’s struggles against that type of blitz, Rollins says that for some reason, the Rams and Ravens only combined to throw one of those types of blitzes at Mayfield over the past two weeks — and since then, Mayfield’s productivity has been on the upswing.
