Steve Wilks’ Game-Winning Pop-Out Blitz

With the Cleveland Browns leading by 3 and 33 seconds left in the game, the Buffalo Bills faced a 3rd and 4 at the Browns’ 35 yard line. A first down would have given Buffalo more time to threaten the endzone and potentially score a game-winning touchdown. A stop would force the Bills to kick a field goal in an attempt to tie (in a Cleveland Browns Stadium known for swirling winds and unpredictable winter conditions).

Simply put, the game was on the line. And in that pressure situation, Browns Defensive Coordinator Steve Wilks went all-in. Here is a look at the all-out blitz that Wilks dialed up to force the field goal (and eventually win the game):
