The defending NFC champs addressed their most pressing positional needs during free agency, giving them the ability to feed head coach Sean McVay’s insatiable appetite for moar weaponz.

Given the questionable status of Todd Gurley’s knee, and CJ Anderson’s one dimensional game, this pick allows the Rams explosive offense to continue deep into next seasons playoffs.

Pokorny: “It was frustrating to hear the Rams constantly say that Todd Gurley was fine last postseason, only to see him get one or two carries on gameday. The Rams’ lack of depth at running back proved to be a killer (even though CJ Anderson did a respectable job). I like the move of shooting for depth here; even if Gurley is healthy, let’s try to prolong his career by getting him fewer touched during the regular season.”
