The 2019 NFL Draft has concluded, but every year, it’s interesting to take a very early look at how the 2020 NFL Draft could turn out for your Cleveland Browns. Last year, Dexter Lawrence was mocked to the Browns. Hilariously enough, he actually did end up going in the spot (No. 17) that Cleveland originally had, when the New York Giants selected him.
Projections will change drastically over the course of a year, but for our early look, we turn to Dan Kadar of SB Nation and his 2020 mock draft. The Browns are projected to have the No. 28 pick, which is strictly based on Super Bowl odds form a sportsbook.
Kadar’s early feeling is that the Browns will look for a left tackle:
28. Cleveland Browns - OT Alaric Jackson, Iowa
The offensive line for the Browns changed last season when Greg Robinson supplanted Desmond Harrison at left tackle. Robinson is only on a one-year contract, though, and the Browns could look toward 2020 for a franchise left tackle.
What do you think, Browns fans? If Cleveland hypothetically had the No. 28 pick next year, would you be in favor of them drafting OT Alaric Jackson, or do you have another prospect in mind?
