Browns will host CB Stephen Denmark for pre-draft visit on Tuesday

NCAA Football: Citrus Bowl-Kentucky vs Penn State Reinhold Matay-USA TODAY Sports

As first reported by Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle, the Cleveland Browns are hosting Valdosta State cornerback Stephen Denmark for a private visit in Berea. Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal later added that the visit would be happening Tuesday, April 9.

Denmark began his career as a wide receiver, but made the recent transition to cornerback and has great size at 6-1, 215 lbs. Dane Brugler of The Athletic says that Denmark quickly “developed a defensive mentality, displaying the outstanding speed and aggressive nature that drew the attention of NFL scouts.” At this point in time, he’s still only pegged to be a Day 3 prospect.
