The order of the Cleveland Browns’ 2019 preseason schedule was released on Tuesday. The team does not have a nationally televised preseason game as of now. Here is a rundown of the schedule:
Preseason Schedule for the Browns
- Preseason Game 1: Washington Redskins at Cleveland Browns (August 8-12)
- Preseason Game 2: Cleveland Browns at Indianapolis Colts (August 15-19)
- Preseason Game 3: Cleveland Browns at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (August 22-26)
- Preseason Game 4: Detroit Lions at Cleveland Browns (August 29-September 1)
This is a different type of preseason schedule for the Browns, who only have the Lions as return opponents from a season ago. As previously announced, the Browns will travel early to Indianapolis to practice against them a few times leading up to the second preseason game. The Browns’ dress rehearsal game will come against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the team that new offensive coordinator Todd Monken worked for in 2018.
The regular season schedule will be announced later this month. At that time, the firm dates/times of the preseason games will also be announced. Jay Crawford and Tim Couch will return for the second year in a row to call the Browns’ preseason action.
Our preseason schedule is set!
