Cedar Point officially opened their gates for the 2019 season on Saturday, May 11, and they had some VIPs in attendance:

It’s not uncommon to run into athletes at Cedar Point. I can’t remember exactly what year it was, but I can remember my father encountering Jim Thome and/or Omar Vizquel at the amusement park many, many years ago. If memory serves me correct, Vizquel then had to be whisked away as a last-minute replacement in the MLB All-Star game, as he learned the news while he was at the park.
