The Cleveland Browns signed OL Drew Forbes on Thursday. He is among the first three players of the team’s seven-person draft class to be signed.
Taken in the 6th round at No. 189 overall, Forbes’ contract will be worth about $2.689 million, with a $169,340 signing bonus over four years, according to OverTheCap’s pre-determined draft chart. His cap hit in 2019 will be roughly $537,335, which puts him behind the likes of Chris Hubbard, J.C. Tretter, Joel Bitonio, Greg Robinson, Austin Corbett, Eric Kush, and Bryan Witzmann.
Forbes was the team’s 6th player selected in the draft and their only offensive lineman picked. He is 6-5, 305-pounds and played college football at Southeast Missouri State. Forbes will wear No. 79 with the Browns.
