The Cleveland Browns signed K Austin Seibert on Friday. He is one of two players who signed on Friday, meaning five of the team’s seven-person draft class have now been signed.
Taken in the 5th round at No. 170 overall, Seibert’s contract will be worth about $2.780 million, with a $260,452 signing bonus over four years, according to OverTheCap’s pre-determined draft chart. His cap hit in 2019 will be roughly $560,113; he will compete with kicker Greg Joseph.
Seibert was the team’s fifth player selected in the draft and their second of two fifth-round picks. He is 5-9, 214-pounds and played college football at Oklahoma. Seibert will wear No. 2 with the Browns.
