The Cleveland Browns may have gained an upper hand in their Week 1 matchup to start the season against the Tennessee Titans. The reason is because starting left tackle Taylor Lewan acknowledged that he failed a drug test, unknowingly taking a supplement that contained ostarine. Lewan was emotional in apologizing in the video:
IDK how you are gonna make this happen but we need this matchup week 1, GL

If everything goes down normal and Lewan accepts the suspension without an appeal, he would be suspended for the first four games of the regular season. Fans took to Twitter right away to point out the advantage that gives DE Myles Garrett and the Browns’ defense against QB Marcus Mariota. Garrett, being the competitor that he is, though, was looking forward to facing Lewan in Week 1:
“I don’t know how you are going to make this happen, but we need this matchup Week 1 — good luck,” tweeted Garrett in response to Lewan’s video.
Dennis Kelly and former Browns lineman Austin Pasztor would be the early candidates to replace Lewan in the starting lineup.
