Cleveland Browns:

  • Can Drew Stanton win games for the Browns? (cleveland.com) - Drew Stanton, who rarely dressed in 2018, is in line to serve as the Browns backup quarterback. Stanton’s presence on the roster has long been about more than what he can do on the field. He’s here to serve as a mentor for Baker Mayfield. It’s why the Browns, who had a capable backup in Tyrod Taylor, kept the now 35-year-old on the roster as a third quarterback. The question here, however, isn’t about roster construction. It’s about Stanton and whether he can win games if necessary.
