Former Browns LT Joe Thomas participates in MLB Celebrity Softball Game

Joe Thomas had some former fun as an adopted member of the Cleveland family.

The city of Cleveland is in the middle of hosting the weeklong festivities associated with the MLB All-Star game. On Sunday, the 2019 Celebrity Softball game took place, featuring Cleveland vs. The World. Cleveland ended up losing 21-16, but the reason we’re reporting on it is that one former member of the Browns took part in it: future Hall of Fame left tackle Joe Thomas!

Here is Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce before the game, hanging out with MMA fighter Stipe Miocic and Thomas:

Right before the game, you can see Thomas running up to embrace Cavaliers legend J.R. Smith:

When the game started, you can see the size difference hilarity of Thomas playing in left field, with Olympian Simone Biles in center field.

Thomas legged out a triple, but of course, it was on a field with much, much shorter basepaths:
