The Cleveland Browns will be without starting safety Damarious Randall for Monday night’s game against the New York Jets.
Randall will miss the game after reporting to practice on Saturday with concussion-like symptoms. He is one one of four Browns players who have been ruled out for Monday night’s game.

In addition to Randall, the Browns will be without offensive tackle Kendall Lamm, who has a knee injury, running back Dontrell Hilliard, who also has a concussion, and linebacker Adarius Taylor, who has a high-ankle sprain, according to clevelandbrowns.com.
The Browns may turn to Eric Murray to replace Randall in the starting lineup, while rookie linebacker Mack Wilson could be first man up to take Taylor’s defensive role.
Cleveland also has four players listed as questionable - wide receiver Rashard Higgins, who is dealing with an ankle injury, left guard Joel Bitonio, who has a little-discussed abdomen problem, quarterback Drew Stanton, who injured his knee, and defensive end Chris Smith, who is dealing with the aftermath of his girlfriend’s tragic death this past week.
The Browns may be getting off lucky compared to the Jets, who in addition to being without starting quarterback Sam Darnold, who was diagnosed with mono this week, have ruled out linebacker C.J. Mosley and defensive lineman Quinnen Williams, according to the team’s website.
