Sunday, Jan. 19th (3:05 PM): Tennessee Titans vs. Kansas City Chiefs

The AFC Championship features my most anticipated match of the weekend, as the Titans take on the Chiefs. Not many people thought the Titans would be in this position; a month ago, Cleveland fans were still holding to hope that Tennessee would slump and the Browns would magically find their way into the playoffs. The Titans made it, though, and went to New England and Baltimore and took it to both teams on the road.

The Chiefs, meanwhile, had some drama of their own. They were down 24-0 early on to the Texans last week, before snapping out of it in a major way, ripping off 51 points over the final three quarters. It’s the type of explosive offense we come to expect from Patrick Mahomes and company.

The Titans have shown an opportunistic, tough defense in the trenches, while moving the line of scrimmage on offense behind runs from Derrick Henry, who seems to be the freshest back in the playoffs despite the huge workload he takes on. Despite the Titans’ 9-7 regular season record, they are a Super Bowl worthy team in my book. I expect a good game, but Andy Reid will get his first crack from the AFC side of things when it’s all said and done. Chiefs 31, Titans 23.

In FanPulse this week, fans across the NFL went with the Chiefs to prevail:
