Quick Hitters

  • Browns OL Chris Hubbard is out with COVID-19. Assuming no one else contracted it, the timing of that is convenient for Cleveland, in the sense that starting RG Wyatt Teller practiced this week and will make his return to action.
  • Also returning to action is RB Nick Chubb, who was a full-go in practice all week.
  • With the benefit of the bye, this is the healthiest the Browns have been in weeks. Rookie LB Jacob Phillips is the only player with an injury status; he is listed as questionable.
  • For the Texans, starting RB David Johnson is out, which means that former Browns RB Duke Johnson will get the start. Starting LG Senio Kelemete will also be out with a concussion, which means that former second-round pick Max Scharping will start there instead.
