Browns fans’ confidence wavers to 88% heading into Week 12

The drop comes after a win, but probably seems more related to COVID and injury-related news.

The twelfth week of SB Nation Reacts voting is in, heading into Week 12 of the NFL season. If you haven’t signed up to vote each week, you can do so here.

The week-to-week confidence meter among Browns fans decreased 7 percentage points, dropping from 95% to 88% after last week’s victory over the Philadelphia Eagles. The drop can probably be explained by the fact that when Cleveland got the 95% vote, Myles Garrett hadn’t yet been diagnosed with COVID-19. Despite the team winning and moving into the sixth seed last week, there is some uneasiness with all of the injuries or COVID-19 cases on defense.

Cleveland’s opponent this week, the Jacksonville Jaguars, has their confidence sitting at just 10%, which is a season low for them. In a fun related Thanksgiving poll, Browns fans voted that the team is the “mashed potatoes and gravy of the NFL,”

There were two national polls, the first of which asked which side dish would have to be voted off the island. I would have voted for cranberry, but green bean casserole got the boot. For the dessert section, sweet potato pie got the boot.
