Browns fans’ confidence settles to 74% heading into Week 9 bye

A loss into a bye sends Cleveland’s confidence downward, with room to build up.

The ninth week of SB Nation Reacts voting is in, heading into Week 9 of the NFL season. If you haven’t signed up to vote each week, you can do so here.

The week-to-week confidence meter among Browns fans decreased 19 percentage points, dropping from 93% to 74% heading into the bye.

We understand that the weather conditions played a factor against the Raiders, and the offense not scoring more points is getting somewhat of a pass for that. However, the way that the Raiders were able to control the game with three 8+ minute drives left a sense of deflation for the team’s defensive prospects.

There were two national polls. The first one asked fans which last-place team is closest to contention, and the Los Angeles Chargers took the top spot in that poll.

The other national poll asked fans which game they are most excited by this week. The re-match of the Saints vs. Buccaneers spot earned the top spot. Browns fans will be most interested in the result of the Ravens vs. Colts game.
