The Cleveland Browns placed safety Karl Joseph on the Reserve/COVID-19 list Tuesday evening.
The addition of Joseph brings the total number of Browns players on the list to nine after tight end Harrison Bryant and safety Andrew Sendejo were placed on the list earlier in the day.

The Browns did not release any additional information, but The Beacon Journal’s Nate Ulrich is reporting that both Joseph and Bryant were placed on the list in the high-risk, close contact category, which means they could be eligible to play on Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers if they continue to test negative.
#Browns safety Karl Joseph is going on the reserve/COVID-19 list as a close contact, a source said. Rookie tight end Harrison Bryant is also a close contact. Both Joseph and Bryant could be available to play #Steelers. Safety Andrew Sendejo is on COVID list and won't be available

Sendejo will not be available, according to Ulrich, so he will join linebacker B.J. Goodson in missing the season finale.
The Browns are still waiting to see if wide receivers Jarvis Landry, Rashard Higgins, Donovan Peoples-Jones and KhaDarel Hodge, along with linebacker Jacob Phillips will be able to play against the Steelers.
All five players missed Sunday’s game against the New York Jets after being deemed high-risk, close contacts of Goodson, who tested positive for COVID-19 on Saturday as the Browns were preparing to fly to New Jersey for the game.
If they continue to test negative, Landry, Higgins, Peoples-Jones, Hodge and Phillips could all return to practice on Thursday.
