We will continue to be treading on dangerous waters through Sunday, it seems.
On Wednesday, the Cleveland Browns announced that overnight, two more positive tests came in for the team — one of them was a coach, and one of them was a member of the practice squad. The team is currently conducting contact tracing to see if there were any close contacts.
As crazy as it may sound, leading up to gameday, it might actually be a good thing that the wide receivers have been quarantined — at least they’re away from the risk of catching it or being a close contact again, right?
With that said, head coach Kevin Stefanski provided multiple updates regarding key players and their attempt to return to action this Sunday:
The Wide Receivers & Jacob Phillips on Track for Thursday
Kevin Stefanski says that Jarvis Landry, Rashard Higgins, Donovan Peoples-Jones, KhaDarel Hodge and Jacob Phillips remain on schedule to return Thursday from reserve/COVID-19 #Browns
