According to multiple reports, the Cleveland Browns are signing QB Case Keenum to a 3-year deal worth $18 million, including $10 million guaranteed.

It’s a hefty price for a backup quarterback, but one that shows a commitment to having a stable presence behind starting QB Baker Mayfield who can step in as a reliable backup while also mentoring the young quarterback.
Keenum is familiar with Kevin Stefanski’s offense, as the two were paired together in 2017 as members of the Minnesota Vikings. That season, Keenum started 14 games and completed a career-high 67.6% of his passes with 22 touchdowns and 7 interceptions.
