The Browns will likely make the defense the focus of their draft from Round 2 on. Backup cornerback and safety are on their list of position players in an attempt to upgrade and gain much-needed depth with the 41st pick in the second-round. Safety Kyle Dugger is a monster tackler. In fact, tackling is his strongest attribute. He is a leader who was calling plays in the back end. Also a player with a great motor.

Dugger has an excellent skill set as he is big, fast and athletic. That superb skill set was given proof at the combine, where Dugger was excellent. He put his name on the map in 2019, with high-level scouts like directors of college scouting going to watch him. Dugger is a small-school prospect who made it onto NFL teams’ preseason watch list. He has a skill set with some size and quickness for the next level. Went to the Senior Bowl and performed well there was important for Dugger’s draft grade.
