Even though defensive line may not be an major need for a struggling Redskins team Chase Young is the best non-QB in this draft and has a all-pro skill set which he proved as he led the NCAA with 16.5 sacks last year with the Buckeyes. Young will join a defensive line with such proven players such as Daron Payne, Jonathan Allen and Matthew Ioannidis. Young is the obvious pick here as he is by far the best player available. Even though the Redskins may be tempted to take a player that fills a bigger need like Young’s former teammate, cornerback Jeff Okudah, Young is just to tantalizing of a prospect to pass up.

Pokorny: “Much like when the Browns didn’t pass up on Myles Garrett a couple of years ago when they had other needs, the Redskins shouldn’t pass up on Young and his pass-rushing prowess.”
