The Cardinals biggest draft needs are OT, LB, and DT. With both Isaiah Simmons and Derrick Brown gone, the Cardinals draft the best player available in Tristan Wirfs. His freakish athletic ability is an ideal fit for coach Kingsbury’s fast paced offense.

Even though Arizona has Marcus Gilbert slated to play RT, Wirfs should be able to start as a rookie given his athleticism and positional flexibility. He can also play LT if D.J. Humphries gets hurt or if he leaves after his new 3 year contract expires.

Arizona could choose one of the other top OTs or they could reach for DT Javon Kinlaw, but Tristan Wirfs should be the pick based on his skillset, scheme fit, and the Cardinal’s priority of protecting Kyler Murray.

Pokorny: “Browns fans will hate seeing Wirfs off the board here, as he is the top offensive tackle on the DBN Big Board. Murray took a lot of sacks as a rookie, and securing a tackle to minimize those hits will be key for his sophomore development, offering him perhaps some more security than Mayfield had to start off his second year in the NFL.”
