With fjblessi selecting QB Tua Tagovailoa with the Dolphins’ 5^th pick, we grab a familiar teammate to ease his transition to the NFL ranks. The super speedy receiver averaged 18.7 yards per catch last year, scored 24 TDs in his college career, and has excellent/reliable hands. DeVante Parker finally broke out last year for the Fins with 72/1202, but their next leading receiver was their TE, Gesicki - 51/570. Ruggs will give their offense an immediate additional weapon and will be an asset in the return game.

Pokorny: “I thought about debating the best strategy for the Dolphins’ three first-round picks, but I can’t overthink it. They have five picks in the first two rounds, and should acquire as many quality players as they can, regardless of the order they’re taken in [after a quarterback].”
