This is probably Drew Brees’ last year before he heads to the booth. Therefore, the team chooses between drafting a third WR or a starting LB to make one more run at a Super Bowl for Brees. With the already QB rich NFC South getting more difficult due to the addition of Tom Brady. The Saints decided to booster the defense with Kenneth Murry. Murray has been compared by some evaluators to 3x Pro Bowler Thomas Davis. His strong tackling skills will help solidify an already strong defense, and help the Saints to a deep playoff run.

Pokorny: “It’s hard to think about Brees and Brady entering the final stages of his career; but Brees does have that amazing announcing gig lined up. I always have faith in the Saints’ offense, so anything they can do to give them a better edge on defense while they still have Brees is the right move for me.”
