Good Signs on Film: Kevin Stefanski’s Fakes are Effective

In the NFL coaches are paid to put their players in the best possible position to make plays and win games.

For an offense, that means catering to your players’ strengths to a degree. But it also means that you structurally and systematically have to attack the way defenses work. It is generally a good idea to take a bit of aggressiveness and instinctive play away from defenders by making them wrong. It is clear from film of his offense that new Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski understands these things, and more importantly that he is able to get his teams to execute them.
