We finished covering the cornerback and safety positions in our training camp previews this past week. At the end of each preview, we include a poll to gauge fan feedback heading into the season.
In Part 1 of our CB preview, we asked two poll questions, starting with who fans thought the team’s starting cornerback would be opposite Denzel Ward. I thought Terrance Mitchell would get a little more support, but second-year man Greedy Williams had an overwhelming 81% of the vote, while Mitchell had 17%.

In Part 2 of our CB preview, we asked if A.J. Green would make the final roster. A whopping 89% of fans believe he’ll make the final roster, which might be the highest I’ve ever seen for an undrafted free agent. Most fans think he’ll make the roster, but just as a special teamer or inactive.

In Part 1 of our S preview, we asked who fans think the Browns’ starting safeties will be in Week 1. The tandem that received the most votes were Karl Joseph-Grant Delpit with 63% of the vote. Individually, 95% think Joseph will start, 68% think Deplit will start, 8% think Sheldrick Redwine will start, and 29% think Andrew Sendejo wll start.

In Part 2 of our S preview, we asked which of three backup safeties fans were most intrigued by. J.T. Hassell had 54% of the vote, Jovante Moffatt had 26%, and Elijah Benton had 19%. I thought the vote would be a tad tighter, like a three-way split, but it goes to show you the level of support that Hassell has.
