On Thursday, the Cleveland Browns announced that they traded a 5th round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft to the Jacksonville Jaguars in exchange for safety Ronnie Harrison.
Harrison (6-3, 214 lbs) was a 3rd round pick by the Jaguars in 2018. He started 22 games in two seasons for Jacksonville, registering 103 tackles, 3 sacks, 3 interceptions, and 12 passes defended. Last year, Harrison started all 14 games that he played in, logging 71 tackles and 9 passes defended.
According to Pro Football Focus, Harrison had mediocre grades, but has shown good instincts at times. With the injury to S Grant Delpit, Harrison gives Cleveland some more options as they try to figure out who will start at free safety between he, Sheldrick Redwine, and Andrew Sendejo.
