Browns’ gameday test results come back all negative, game on for Cleveland vs. Pittsburgh

There are no further positives for Cleveland, so you can breathe easy until tonight’s game.

Even though the Cleveland Browns will still be without four key players due to COVID-19, for the first time in awhile, fans can at least breathe easy for a few hours for this very reason: the rest of the players have gotten the all-clear to play tonight after their negative COVID-19 tests came in:

Per ESPN’s Adam Schefter, for the past two weeks, the NFL “had the Browns also take gameday MESA tests,” in addition to the other tests from Saturday night. That’s why we had to wait a few extra hours this morning to confirm everyone’s availability.

When it comes to RT Jack Conklin, I can only assume that no news is good news for the team’s starting right tackle. He was the last big question mark for the team after not practicing on Friday with an “illness.” But if no one has tested positive for COVID-19 on the team, that would seem to imply that Conklin would be able to play tonight.
