The Cleveland Browns closed out their best season in 25 years on Sunday with a loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in the divisional round of the AFC playoffs.

The team’s success has not gone unnoticed as several players now find themselves on the various all-star teams as selected by the Professional Football Writers of America.

First up is the All-NFL team, where the Browns had three players honored: left guard Joel Bitonio, right tackle Jack Conklin and defensive end Myles Garrett. It was the first selection for all three players, and the Browns tied the Indianapolis Colts as the only teams in the league to have three players selected for the All-NFL team.

Cleveland had four players selected to the All-AFC team, just one fewer than the Colts and Kansas City Chiefs, which led the conference with five players each. Making the All-AFC team from the Browns were running back Nick Chubb, a repeat selection from 2019, Bitonio, Conklin and Garrett.

The Browns were among a group of seven teams that had two players selected to the All-Rookie team. Honored from the Browns were tight end Harrison Bryant and left tackle Jedrick Wills Jr.

The PFWA will announce its selections for Most Valuable Player, as well as Offensive and Defensive Players of the Year on January 20; Coach of the Year, which head coach Kevin Stefanski should receive strong consideration, Executive of the Year, general manager Andrew Berry should be part of the conversation, and Assistant Coach of the Year, with offensive line coach Bill Callahan having a strong case, on January 21; and Comeback Player of the Year and Most Improved Player of the Year on January 22.
