Sunday, Jan. 24th (3:05 PM): Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Green Bay Packers
The NFC Championship features two familiar faces, although it’s the first time that Tom Brady is doing it for another conference as the Buccaneers travel to Lambeau Field to take on the Packers. In a unique twist, despite not having a single home playoff game, if the Buccaneers win the NFC Championship, they will host the Super Bowl — granted, it will be billed as a “neutral” field, but it would be in their home stadium.
The Packers have been consistent all season, with a good mix of offense and defense, and Christian Kirksey is a game away from making it to the big game. Will Aaron Rodgers keep his team steady against a Buccaneers team that started to click on all cylinders down the stretch? This is a tough game — my football mind tells me that the Packers are still the more complete and consistent team, but something in my gut just feels that it is inevitable that Brady gets to the Super Bowl again. Buccaneers 31, Packers 27.
Browns fans should use this as an open thread to discuss the game!
