On Friday, the Cleveland Browns unveiled a special logo to celebrate their 75th anniversary, and also released the video below. The 75-year anniversary began in January, so for branding purposes, the team is using the club’s exciting finish to the 2020 season as the beginning of the celebration, leading into what’s to come for the 2021 season.
The Browns also published this article, with a recap of sorts for the team’s growth in 2020 that ties into the hype for the 75th anniversary. The other nugget revealed today came from J.W. Johnson, who is the team’s executive vice president. In an interview on 92.3 the Fan, Johnson said that the team “would have an alternate uniform this year” to celebrate the 75th anniversary. He did not indicate whether it would be a throwback uniform, or a new combination.
