The Prez Sez: Browns Backers President’s Week 9 predictions vs. Bengals

Browns Backers Presidents just don’t simply look good and do all the work to organize their chapters. They know football, and more importantly, know Cleveland Browns football.

The Bay Area chapter located in San Jose has a territory that includes the San Francisco area as well. This chapter was founded in San Jose in 1986 by Lt. Col. Harold V. Manson (seated on the right in our group picture). Manson grew up in Houston, TX and followed the Browns from day one. Harold has since passed away but his Browns loyalty remains in all of us. BABB grew from 12 fans to over 1,200 in the San Francisco Bay Area. From SF to San Jose and across the bay to Oakland, Cleveland Browns fans dominate the scene at each of the eight sports establishments we attend.

Each week, DBN invites five Browns Backers chapter Presidents to provide their insight with the outcome of Cleveland’s next opponent.

Weekly prediction: “We’ll be going into Cincy after what will seem like a normal rivalry game against the Steelers after two close ones that we split against the Cards and Broncos. Things should be clicking by Week 9 and it will be our first complete 60 minutes of football where we dominate all phases from start to finish. The win against the Bengals will put the nail-biting performances against the Vikings and Bears firmly in the rear view. 100 yards rushing in the fourth quarter pounding out first downs on the ground, as Stefanski will have finally realized having two good runners on the field at the same time is a good idea, while the clock ticks down to VICTORY! Browns 35, Bengals 17”
