The Cleveland Browns placed right tackle Jack Conklin on injured reserve on Saturday.
The move was expected after head coach Kevin Stefanski said on Monday that Conklin would be out for multiple weeks after suffering a dislocated elbow during the loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The injury to Conklin was just the latest to hit Cleveland’s offensive line this season. Conklin, who is ranked at No. 8 out of 79 offensive tackles by Pro Football Focus, had missed the previous two games with a knee injury. Left tackle Jedrick Wills Jr. has been dealing with an ankle injury since Week 1, meaning that the Browns have not had all five of their starters available for an entire game this season.
In addition to the Conklin move, the Browns made a few other roster transactions on Saturday as they activated fullback Andy Janovich and center Nick Harris from the injured reserve list.

Janovich played in the first five games, and actually scored a touchdown, before suffering a hamstring injury. Harris played in four games before landing on injured reserve, also with a hamstring injury.
Finally, the club elevated defensive tackle Sheldon Day and tight end Miller Forristall to the active roster for Sunday’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
The 6-foot-1 and 293-pound Day played in the Week 6 game against the Arizona Cardinals, finishing with five tackles.
The 6-foot-5 and 245-pound Forristall spent the opening week of the season on the practice squad of the Tennessee Titans before being released and signing with the Browns to their practice squad. An undrafted free agent out of Alabama, he finished his collegiate career with 44 receptions, 505 yards and five touchdowns while winning two national championships with the Crimson Tide.
Players elevated from the practice squad for a game will immediately return to the practice squad the day following the game.
