The Cleveland Browns will celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of the franchise throughout 2021 with a variety of activities to celebrate the team.
The celebration kicked off on Thursday night with a special live streamed episode of Browns Live from the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton.
That event opened a yearlong celebration that, according to clevelandbrowns.com, will include the second season of Browns Breakdowns featuring analysis of the team’s selections in the 2021 NFL Draft, along with special Legends episodes that will focus on the franchise’s legendary players. Hosted by senior media broadcaster Nathan Zegura, the Legends episodes will feature former players and current position coaches breaking down film and discussing the players’ careers.
The club will also work to determine the 75 best moments in franchise history, which will be revealed throughout the first half of the year on the team’s social medial channels and website. The top 10 moments will be revealed in the summer during a Best of the Browns edition of the team’s Browns Countdown show. Fans will have the opportunity to vote on the top 10 moments from a list that the club is creating with the help of a panel of historians, alumni and reporters.
Finally, the Browns are offering a variety of 75th anniversary-themed wallpapers for phones and computers via their website. The mobile wallpapers, desktop wallpapers and backgrounds for virtual meetings feature quarterback Baker Mayfield, running back Nick Chubb, defensive end Myles Garrett, cornerback Denzel Ward, left guard Joel Bitonio and wide receiver Jarvis Landry.
