- 3 offseason decisions that will tell us a lot about the Browns future (cleveland.com) - Soon we’ll learn a lot about what awaits the Browns in 2021 and beyond. In his first year on the job and as the youngest GM in pro sports, Andrew Berry made two expensively accurate decisions. Will he do the same at the start of free agency on March 17? That’s the first of three offseason decisions that will tell us a lot about the Browns’ future.

NFL:
- Saints create $13.4M in cap room with restructured deals for stars Demario Davis and Cameron Jordan (NFL.com) - The Saints entered the offseason with the worst salary cap situation in football, standing tens of millions above the announced floor. Both points remain true a month later. But they put another sizable dent in their debt Saturday. New Orleans restructured the contracts of linebacker Demario Davis and defensive end Cameron Jordan to create $13,443,750 million of cap room.
- How glassblowing helps Minnesota Vikings’ Stephen Weatherly decompress (ESPN) - “Ooooh! Oooh!’’ Stephen Weatherly yelled as he noticed a small spot smoldering on his right thigh. The five-year veteran defensive end, who recently signed a one-year deal with the Minnesota Vikings after he was released by the Carolina Panthers, momentarily lost his concentration during a glassblowing session, allowing the hot end of the six-foot pipe he was breathing into while rolling it make contact with his pants.
- How bad are NFL teams at identifying the best QB in a given draft class? (The Ringer) - Trevor Lawrence is the most sought-after QB prospect since Andrew Luck. For as much as he seems like a sure thing, though, history suggests he may not even be the best quarterback in the 2021 class.
- Jimmy Garoppolo remains Patriots’ top QB target for 2021 (CBS Sports) - San Francisco 49ers general manager John Lynch “really believes” Jimmy Garoppolo will be back as the team’s starting quarterback in 2021, but the rest of the NFL isn’t so sure. That includes Garoppolo’s old squad, the New England Patriots, who still have the 29-year-old signal-caller as their top target for the upcoming season. That’s according to Greg Bedard of the Boston Sports Journal, who reported this week that Garoppolo is “far and away their ‘Plan A’” at quarterback for this season.
