The Chargers are in desperate need of a franchise left tackle to protect Justin Herbert. Darrisaw is a physical and athletic tackle who has played on the left side for multiple seasons. He was dominant at a high level of competition this past season. He can come in and be a day one upgrade for them.
Pokorny: “The Chargers have already added two new pieces to their offensive line via free agency, and I’m in favor of them going all-in on that investment with a rookie left tackle to keep Justin Herbert upright. Herbert had a very impressive season last year, shattering my expectations and making me understand the decision to move on from Philip Rivers.”
