Cleveland Browns Training Camp Report - Day 19 (8/25/21)
1. Practice Indoors: With the potential for storms and rain in the forecast, the Browns decided to practice indoors today for the 1:30 PM session.
2. Play of the Day: WR JoJo Natson runs up the middle before cutting to the flag, and he makes a diving touchdown catch on a long pass from QB Baker Mayfield. It’s hard to tell who was responsible for him in coverage, but S Ronnie Harrison is the safety who comes over late.

3. More Progress on Takk: After being a visible presence on Wednesday, DE Takk McKinley actually took part in practice on Wednesday, marking the first time he’s been available since July 31. The team will assess how he does in practice before deciding whether he’ll get some work in Sunday’s preseason finale.

4. Decision on Starters Coming Friday: Before practice, head coach Kevin Stefanski said that he will announce on Friday whether the starters will play in the third preseason game or not. He already knows what he’ll do, but wants the team to prepare through the week’s practices before he unveils it.
5. Green With the Breakup: Now in his second year with the team, CB A.J. Green has put together another solid camp. Will it be enough to squeeze out a roster spot? Here, he stays with and gets a hand on a sideline pass intended for RB/WR Demetric Felton.

6. Ramping Up: For the first time in camp (I believe), WR Odell Beckham took part in 7-on-7 drills. He had previously only been doing individual and positional drills:

7. Brownies: WR Anthony Schwartz got a little bit of work in today, as he continues trying to return from injury. ... Also returning to practice were WR Ja’Marcus Bradley, DE Porter Gustin, S Sheldrick Redwine, and CB Denzel Ward. ... C J.C. Tretter did not practice, but is supposed to be OK. ... WR Jarvis Landry had a rest day, and RT Jack Conklin did not practice (illness). ... The Browns signed LB Tegray Scales and waived CB Robert Jackson.
