The Cleveland Browns are looking to come back after being down all game to the Denver Broncos. With rookie QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson starting for his second straight week, the Browns pass catchers struggled with a number of drops but DTR was able to lead three scoring drives combined in the second and third quarters.

With Cleveland down 17-12 late in the third quarter, the rookie looked to convert on a third and long when this hit occurred:

DTR was down on the field for a little while before walking off on his own power. Veteran PJ Walker, who started earlier in the season, took his place.

While walking to the sidelines, Thompson-Robinson was seen with a bloody mouth/lip.

Shortly after the injury, the Browns turned the ball over, putting the Broncos in position to put more points on the board. While Denver was driving, DTR went to the locker room:

We will keep you up to date with DTR’s injury as information becomes available.

Updates:

Thompson-Robinson being evaluated for a head injury is not a good sign that he will be able to play the rest of today’s game:

We have our first report on the extent of the injury:

A concussion diagnosis would make it difficult for DTR to play next week against the Los Angeles Rams which means either Walker or Joe Flacco, would take the snaps. Flacco would be the fourth starter for the season.

The concussion has been confirmed:

With the Broncos scoring a touchdown after the turnover, the Browns are down double digits in the fourth quarter with Walker taking the snaps at least to start.
