The Cleveland Browns are at home to face the Chicago Bears in Week 15 of the 2023 NFL season this Sunday, December 17, at 1:00 PM ET. The Browns are 3-point favorites against the Bears, according to DraftKings Sportsbook. Here are my favorite player prop bets from the Browns’ perspective in Week 15.
I was 3/3 on my player prop bets last week.
Browns vs. Bears: Best NFL player prop bets
Myles Garrett Over 0.75 Sacks (-130)
Garrett had 12.5 sacks in his first 10 games, but has 0 sacks in his last 3 games. That sackless streak started when he hurt his shoulder, and you could tell he was a bit limited for two weeks. Last week against Jacksonville, he looked back to his dominant form, but there was a long analysis done by Browns fans showing how crazy it was that Garrett was being held, clawed in his face, etc. all game, with no calls being made against the Jaguars. It even prompted Garrett to criticize officials after the game. When I think of the combination of him being due for a sack, the officials maybe paying more attention to calling flags, and how Garrett had 4.5 sacks on Justin Fields back in 2021, I think you have to roll the dice and take that bet.
Jerome Ford Under 43.5 Yards Rushing (-115)
With the Browns-Bears game possibly having a lot of rain and the Bears having one of the league’s top run defenses, I’m not sensing a big day on the ground for Ford. Ford has also had some fumbling issues at times, so I don’t know if he’ll be trusted with a wet football as much as Kareem Hunt might be leaned out to grind out those yards.
David Njoku First TD Scorer (+950)
I rarely suggest a touchdown score as a receiver, let alone a “first touchdown scorer.” However, when I think of the big game David Njoku had last week, the Bears’ good run defense, but the Bears also struggling to defend in the red zone, then I like the gamble to take Njoku as the Browns’ first touchdown scorer in Week 15.
Browns fans, let us know which player prop bets you’re looking at this week against the Bears.
