The Cleveland Browns moved to 9-5 in the 2023 NFL season with a huge comeback victory over the Chicago Bears in Week 15. An ugly game that came down to one last Hail Mary play for the Bears. After the ball was hit, Chicago WR Darnell Mooney had the ball in his hands while on the ground before it popped in the air and was intercepted by Cleveland’s safety D’Anthony Bell.
Cleveland was down 17-7 in the fourth quarter due to multiple interceptions from QB Joe Flacco but the veteran quarterback did not give up. The Browns scored the final 13 points, all in the fourth quarter, and had a three-point lead with 32 seconds left in the game.
Cleveland defenders failed to tackle WR Tyler Scott during the final possession but were able to get two incompletions before this game-ending Hail Mary attempt:

At the end of the year, a win will be a win. Cleveland has three games left and a 92% chance to make the playoffs.
We will have much more on this game and the impact of another “Kardiac Kids” style victory for the Browns in 2023.
